Young Adult Volunteering Weekend at Giuseppe Conlon House
Giuseppe Conlon House is a house of hospitality in Harringay, offering accommodation and a welcoming community for people experiencing homelessness, including asylum seekers and migrants. Young adults aged 18–34 are invited to join London Catholic Worker for a practical volunteering weekend at the house on Saturday the 10th of October and Sunday the 11th of October 2026, supported by Caritas Westminster.
Volunteers will help prepare the winter homeless shelter through cleaning, painting, decorating and other practical tasks. There will also be a chance to meet the team, learn about the project and hear about opportunities to volunteer with the shelter and wider community throughout the winter.
No previous experience is needed, and you can attend either day or both. Food and refreshments will be provided, and Caritas Westminster can offer travel bursaries where needed.
Time: 11am–4:30pm each day
