About this event

St Josemaria Escriva encouraged young people to visit the poor: in serving them, we meet Christ (Mt 25:40).

Friday Visits to the Missionaries of Charity

Every Friday from 9am to 12pm, a group from Netherhall House residence for young men, goes to help the Missionaries of Charity (Mother Teresa’s sisters of Calcutta) in their care for the homeless. We serve food, wash up and lend a hand wherever it’s needed, and above all we spend time with the people who come to them.

The visits are open to university students and young professionals, and no experience is needed. Come once or every week, but please let us know beforehand, by WhatsApp (number below).
