About this event

Why do Catholics use icons and Statues in churches and in prayer? Is this practice biblical and how is it different from idolatory?

Join us for the engaging talk exploring the meaning, purpose and relevance of sacred images in the Catholic faith. We will look at their biblical and theological foundations, how they have been used throughout the history of the Church and how they can help us direct our hearts and minds towards God.

The talk will be given by Fr Matthew Jarvis, OP Prior of St Dominic's Rosary Shrine.

Whether Catholic or just curious about the faith you are very welcome
