About this event

A Fundraising Concert for Radio Maria UK.

Join us for an unforgettable evening of music and storytelling in support of Radio Maria UK, as we celebrate the saints and culture makers whose lives have shaped our faith. This special fundraising concert brings together two extraordinary performers whose artistry spans continents, traditions, and centuries of sacred storytelling.

Main Performance: Sophie Clarke

Praised for her “beautiful storytelling” and “touching performances,” Sophie Clarke has captivated thousands of loyal listeners through a string of acclaimed solo performances at venues including the Royal Festival Hall, Cadogan Hall, and Bridgewater Hall. Her international career has taken her from Brazil to Norway, and this September, Sophie was honoured with an invitation to Vatican City to receive the Vexillum Sciacca International Award for Music 2026. Her recordings have reached over five million plays across more than one hundred and twenty countries, with radio play throughout Europe, Australia, and the Americas. This summer, Sophie performs as La Reine in Le Dernier Sorcier for the Buxton International Opera Festival, alongside a guest appearance at Oscott College’s Summer Catholic Faith Festival.

Opening Performance: Emilija Karaliūtė

Emilija Karaliūtė is a professional classical musician based in London, and her musical journey began at age nine, when she first picked up the kanklės, Lithuania’s national instrument. In 2018, she moved to the UK with a mission close to her heart: to introduce this little-known instrument to a wider audience, and there is no better stage for that than London. Since then, Emilija has performed at venues and events across the country, sharing not only her music but the stories and history behind the kanklės, and building a devoted following eager to learn more about her country’s musical heritage.

Together, Sophie and Emilija bring an evening that bridges continents and centuries, honouring the saints and culture makers who continue to inspire us today. Every ticket supports Radio Maria UK’s mission to bring Catholic radio to homes across the country.
